    ATLANTA - The SAA announced the 2016-17 SAA Man and Woman of the Year presented by Summit Management Corporation and Gray Stanton of Hendrix and Mason Paas of Centre each won SAA Man of the Year honors while Rhodes' Mackenzie Cohen claimed SAA Woman of the Year status.

    ATLANTA – The SAA announced the 2017 Spring Sports All-Sportsmanship Teams and 79 student-athletes among the league’s eight full-time members received recognition. Formed in 2011, the SAA places a special emphasis on good sportsmanship and fair play among all competitors.
  • Women's Lacrosse All-Conference Award Winners Released

    ATLANTA – The SAA announced the 2017 Women’s Lacrosse All-Conference award winners on Tuesday and, following voting by the league head coaches, Centre’s Hannah Bellamah claimed Offensive Player of the Year while Sewanee’s Brianna Young collected the Defensive Player of the Year award. Claire Voltarel of Berry won Newcomer of the Year status and first-year head coach Shawna Block of Oglethorpe was named Coach of the Year by her peers.

    ATLANTA - The SAA announced the women's lacrosse Players of the Week for games played April 10 - 16 and Berry teammates Kelsey McAnnally and Ella Makin swept the honors after outstanding offensive and defensive performances, respectively.

    ATLANTA - Rhodes topped Sewanee 17-11 on Saturday afternoon to complete an undefeated run through conference play and earn the 2017 SAA Women's Lacrosse Regular Season title outright. With the win, the Lynx will head to the 2017 SAA Tournament as the top seed.

Gabryele Pochron of Hendrix claimed Defensive Player of the Week after another disruptive performance that nearly lifted the Warriors to victory.
