LA CROSSE, Wisc. (May 26, 2018)  Birmingham-Southern track and field student-athlete Karmin Shute closed out the 2018 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships with two more All-America honors.

"Our athletes represented our program in a great way that I'm proud," said Head Coach Kenneth Cox.  "Throughout some great competition they stepped up and that is what it's all about."

Shute, a senior, finished second overall in the 200m dash and fourth in the 100m to end her collegiate career as a two-time All-American.

"Our seniors have had unbelievable careers and they have left a standard to be followed for years to come," added Cox.
