ATLANTA (March 1, 2020) – The Oglethorpe women's basketball team won its second Southern Athletic Association (SAA) Women's Basketball Tournament title in the last three years with an 84-67 victory over Rhodes, Sunday, inside Dorough Field House.

The victory improved the Stormy Petrels to 27-1 this season which set a new single-season wins mark for OU. Oglethorpe also earned the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Championship. The Stormy Petrels will be making their third consecutive appearance in the big dance and seventh overall. 

The NCAA will announce the 64-team field at 2:30 p.m. (EST), Monday with the selection show broadcast on NCAA.com.
