Centre makes history with perfect score; Colonels dominate SAA Women's Cross Country Championship

ROME, Ga. (Feb. 27, 2021) – The Centre women's cross country team made history with a perfect score at the Southern Athletic Assocaition (SAA) Women's Cross Country Championship, Saturday. The title was the Colonels' fourth straight SAA crown and seventh overall. 

Centre finished the meet with perfect score of 15 points. Amelia Lorrey of Centre topped her four teammates with a winning time of 23:22.40. Meghan Owens was second at 24:08.30 while 2019 SAA Runner of the Year Alison Anderson was third at 24:17.20.
