ROME, Ga. (March 13, 2021) – The Berry men's basketball team capped off an outstanding season by winning the 2020-21 Southern Athletic Association Tournament Championship game, Saturday, with a 72-58 victory over Oglethorpe.

The win gave Berry its first SAA Men's Basketball title since 2018. The Vikings won the championship that season as a No. 8 seed. This year was different, the Vikings entered the tournament as the SAA Men's Basketball Regular Season champions and No. 1 seed.

Tournament MVP Rob Mbenoun led Berry in scoring with 14 points on a perfect 5-for-5 effort. That included four three-point field goals.
