Birmingham-Southern's Robert Shufford and Connor West joined Wiley Henshaw of Rhodes as this week's SAA football players of the week, as selected by the league office.

SAA Offensive Player of the Week: Robert Shufford, Birmingham-Southern
Shufford totaled 30 carries for an outstanding 231 yards Saturday in the Panthers' victory over in-state rival Huntingdon. He averaged 7.7 yards per carry and went for a single-game program record four rushing touchdowns in the contest.

SAA Defensive Player of the Week: Connor West, Birmingham-Southern
West tallied 13 tackles in the Panthers 48-9 blowout victory over the rival Hawks on Saturday. His defense did not allow a point to Huntingdon in the game's second half.

SAA Special Teams Player of the Week: Wiley Henshaw, Rhodes
Henshaw's 30 yard field goal to put Rhodes ahead 16-14 with 11 minutes left in the first half. Henshaw averaged 47.5 yards per kickoff, totaling six for 285 yards. He averaged 43.8 yards per punt on six punts for 263 yards. Four of those fell inside the 20 yard line with his longest punt totaling 71 yards. Henshaw also made two PATs, totaled five points for the Lynx in their first road game of the season. In the game, he totaled 578 yards on kickoffs, punts, and field goals.
