The Centre Colonels won their second straight SAA women's golf chanpionship Sunday, besting second-place Sewanee by 29 strokes over the course of three rounds over the weekend at the Legends Course at Chateau Elan in Braselton, Georgia. The Colonels fired the best round of the tournament by any team Sunday, posting an impressive 11-over-par 299 on the day to pull away after taking a 10-stroke lead into the round.
Centre's Rylee Suttor posted the best individual round of the tournament to take individual medalist honors, shooting 4-under 68 on the day to finish the 54-hole event at 1-over 217, seven strokes ahead of second-place Sarah Hsu from Oglethorpe.
The women's golf SAA postseason awards were announced at the conclusion of the tournament, as well. The award-winners and All-SAA teams are listed below:
