The Oglethorpe Stormy Petrels took home their fourth SAA men's golf champioship Sunday, cruising to a 21-stroke victory over runner-up Berry at the Legends Course at Chateau Elan in Braselton, Georgia. The Stormy Petrels started the day 16 strokes up and, after Berry closed the gap to 10 strokes during the day's front nine, Oglethorpe pulled away on the back nine. The Petrels wound up shooting 1-over-par 293 on the day, the best round of the tournament by any team.
Berry's Blake Farbman shot an impessive 2-over 221 over three rounds and posted 3-over 76 on Sunday. That earned him the tournament's individual medal by two strokes over a three-way tie for second.
