Green, Wicklund and Mann head All-SAA men's tennis awards

The SAA released their All-SAA men's tennis teams Friday, as selected by the league's coaches. Birmingham-Southern's Hallet Green won SAA Player of the Year honors, Sewanee's Quinn Wicklund earned SAA Newcomer of the Year honors, and Sewanee head coach Felix Mann garnered the SAA Coach of the Year award.

Green went 8-0 in SAA singles play on the season and an impressive 20-1 overall, all at the No. 1 singles position. Wicklund went 6-1 in singles play on the season and 8-1 in doubles play, serving as part of the No. 1 doubles team all year He went 13-8 in all singles matches and 14-8 in all doubles.

Mann led the Tigers to their eighth SAA championship. They went a perfect 7-0 in SAA play and then swept through the tournament, defeating Centre 5-1 in the final. For the season overall, the Tigers went 13-11 and will take on Grinnell in the first round of the NCAA tournament.
