The SAA released their All-SAA women's tennis teams Friday, as selected by the league's coaches. Sewanee swept the end-of-year awards, with Alice Hall winning SAA Player of the Year, Brooke Despriet winning SAA Newcomer of the Year and Conchie Shackeldford winning SAA Coach of the Year.
Hall went 11-5 in singles play on the season overall, and an impressive 17-3 in all doubles matches. She went 4-0 in conference singles matches and 5-0 in doubles. Despriet went 3-1 in singles and 5-0 in doubles in SAA play, with an 18-3 overall doubles record.
Shackelford led the Tigers to their eighth SAA championship and a 20-3 overall record. Sewanee holds the No. 10 national ranking headed into the NCAA tournament, where they'll take on the winner of an opening round match between Otterbein and Webster on Saturday.
