Atlanta, Ga. (September 21, 2023) – Three Southern Athletic Association teams were in action last week, all playing in the Joe and Lee Invitational. Rhodes served as host of the event at Mirimichi Golf Course in Millington, Tennessee.
 
The host Lynx finished second at 27 over (298-299-294), just six shots behind Mississippi College. Millsaps took seventh and Birmingham-Southern was eighth.
 
Athlete of the Week:
Annie Piggott | Millsaps | Junior | Lindsay, Ontario, Canada | Piggott tied for seventh at the Joe and Lee Duncan Invitational over the weekend. The junior posted a five-over score of 221 over the three rounds. She opened the event with a three-under 69, the lowest score recorded by a Millsaps golfer since at least the early 1990’s. The round was highlighted with a hole-in-one on the par-three, 130-yard eighth hole at Mirimichi.
