Athlete of the Week:
SINGLES: Noah Koch | Berry | Junior | Kansas City, Mo. – played in the top singles flight in three matches last week, posting a 2-1 record. The junior won at No. 1 in straight sets against Salisbury and Christian Brothers and loss a close, three-set thriller to the top player from Emory.
DOUBLES: Millsaps
Sam Tuli | Sophomore | Ocean Springs, Miss. / Carson Chassaignac | Sophomore | Baton Rouge, La. - the Majors No. 1 doubles team posted a big win in their conference opener against Birmingham-Southern, earning an 8-5 victory over Hallett Green and Sam Tolbert .
Notable Performances:
- Bo Bush/Ty Bush (Centre) - the Bush pairing went 2-1 on the week with wins at Virginia Wesleyan (8-5) and Midway (8-4). The lone loss came to #29 Mary Washington (5-8). The pair of brothers are 5-3 on the season as the No. 1 duo for the Colonels.
- Drayton Matus/Bohdan Higley (Berry) – posted two big wins last the week, winning 8-6 over Salibury and 8-4 over Division II Christian Brothers.
