Atlanta, Ga. – The SAA has announced its final women’s tennis athletes of the week for the 2023-24 season.

Athlete of the Week:
SINGLES: Camille Fremaux | Millsaps | Grad | Baton Rouge, La. – secured a pair of Court 1 singles wins over the weekend. She bested her Oglethorpe foe in a 7-6 (7-1), 6-3 decision on Saturday. Fremaux followed with a strong 6-2, 6-2 winner hosting Berry on Sunday. The Majors defeated the Stormy Petrels, 5-1 and fell to the Vikings, 5-2.
DOUBLES: Millsaps
Camille Fremaux | Grad | Baton Rouge, La. /Madison Williams | Senior | Slidel, La. - combined for a pair of victories on Court 2 doubles to close out the regular season. The pair won 8-1 against Oglethorpe on Saturday and 8-4 over Berry on Sunday. The Majors defeated the Stormy Petrels, 5-1 and fell to the Vikings, 5-2.
Notable Performances:
- Emma McHale/Gracie Rask (Rhodes) – picked up a huge win over the previously unbeaten team from Sewanee and due from Centre, both at No. 2 doubles.
- Nicole Nowak/Mariella Cogeni (Sewanee) - have won their last 6 doubles matches and are currently undefeated in conference play. Against #1 Burke/Stephens of Hendrix they won 8-3 and against No. 3 Lowry/Baba of Rhodes they won 8-3.
- Natalie Black/Kayla Harger (Centre) - played as the No. 2 duo for the first time this year at Hendrix and came away 8-3 winners over Emma Self and Josie Leffingwell.
- Juliana Mascagni/Lauren Masteller (Berry) - won Both No. 1 doubles at Birmingham-Southern and Millsaps.
- Nicole Nowak (Sewanee) - finished out a stellar senior year regular season with an undefeated SAA record and a 13-5 singles record overall. Playing #2 against Hendrix she defeated Avery Stephens 6-2,6-1 and playing #5 against Rhodes she defeated Sofia Rodriguez 6-2,6-1.
- Kennedy Herring (Centre) - moved to 2-0 as the second-ranked Colonel in singles thanks to a 6-1, 6-1 win over Stephens of Hendrix.
- Saris Mejia (Berry) - Won at No. 3 singles against SAA opponents from Birmingham-Southern and Millsaps to put a cap on the regular season.
