Offense:
Marissa Drange | Trinity | SR | Boerne, TX – Drange led the 10th-ranked Trinity University volleyball team to a 3-0 weekend that included two wins over ranked teams and two more Southern Athletic Association wins. The Tigers defeated #9 Emory 3-0 to start the weekend, then won a 3-1 SAA match at #14 Berry, and finished with a 3-0 sweep at Oglethorpe on Sunday. Drange led Trinity with 32 kills this weekend, averaging 3.20 kills/set, while also leading ALL hitters with a .474 hitting percentage that is well above her season average of .300. She finished with 12 kills and hit .550 against #9 Emory to start the week, then had a weekend-best and tied her career-high with 14 kills and a .357 hitting percentage against #14 Berry. Drange finished with six kills in nine swings and hit. 667 against Oglethorpe to give her two matches over .500 for the weekend.
Defense:
Lauren McCarthy | Trinity | JR | Corrales, NM –McCarthy led the 10th-ranked Trinity University volleyball team to an undefeated weekend on the road, defeating #9 Emory University (GA), #14 Berry College (GA), and Oglethorpe University (GA). She finished with 17 blocks in the three matches, averaging 1.7 blocks/set to boost her season average of 1.3 blocks/set. She started off with four blocks against #9 Emory on Friday night, then picked up five more blocks against #14 Berry on Saturday. She finished the weekend by tying her career-high with eight blocks against Oglethorpe on Sunday. McCarthy is ranked 10th nationally in blocks/set and the Tigers are fourth in Division III in blocks/set.

Offense
- Mack Turner | Centre | JR | Knoxville, TN –Mack Turner had an excellent weekend for Centre volleyball as she combined for 17 kills across a pair of wins against Millsaps and Rhodes. Turner's best statistic was her hitting percentage as she made just two errors over the entire weekend, hitting a combined .517 across the two games.
- Mollie White | Sewanee | SO | Lake Forest, IL – Mollie White delivered a dominant performance for the Tigers, helping Sewanee to two conference wins over the weekend. White totaled 37 kills, highlighted by a career-best 28 kills against Millsaps. She hit a career-high .490 on 49 swings and added two blocks to help lift Sewanee to a five-set victory. The sophomore also contributed eight digs and an ace on the weekend, while adding nine kills in the sweep of Rhodes.
- Emily Marks | Southwestern | SR | Cypress, TX – Emily Marks put together a standout weekend for the Pirates, tallying 26 kills over 9 sets for an impressive 2.89 kills per set and a .312 hitting percentage. Marks posted 11 kills in Saturday’s game versus Oglethorpe and followed that up with a dominant 15-kill performance on Sunday against No. 14 Berry College, helping push the nationally ranked Vikings to a five-set battle. In addition to her offensive impact, Marks also contributed three blocks on the weekend, showcasing her all-around play and consistency at the net.
Defense
- Sophia Caruso | Sewanee | JR | Naples, FL – Sophia Caruso anchored Sewanee’s defense as the Tigers went 2-0 in conference play. The libero posted 34 digs in the five-set win over Millsaps and added 16 more in three sets against Rhodes, averaging 6.25 digs per set on the weekend. Caruso also recorded 12 assists—six in each match—and added three aces to round out a standout defensive effort.
- Izzy Rodriguez | Southwestern | SO | Houston, TX – Libero Izzy Rodriguez led the Pirates’ defense over the weekend, collecting 39 digs and 8 assists across 9 sets, averaging 4.33 digs per set. Rodriguez anchored the back row with 22 digs in Saturday’s four-set victory over Oglethorpe — leading the team in the category — and added 17 digs on Sunday against No. 14 Berry College, helping the Pirates push the nationally ranked Vikings to a five-set match. Her steady presence, passing consistency, and defensive leadership were vital to the Pirates’ strong performances throughout the weekend.
