FOND DU LAC, Wis. – No. 1 seed Mary Washington and No. 2 seed Rhodes are set to clash for the 2025 Collegiate Field Hockey Championship on Sunday.
Game time is slated for noon CT. This matchup serves as a rematch of last year’s title game, where Mary Washington captured the championship trophy.
The teams last met on October 4, with UMW edging out a 2–1 victory in a tightly contested battle. Rhodes’ Dzialowski opened the scoring early, but the Eagles rallied late to secure the win in Fredericksburg.
Both teams have remained fixtures at the top of the CFHC standings all season. While UMW enters as the 2025 Regular Season Champion, the Lynx are determined to flip the script and bring home hardware of their own.
Under Coach of the Year Jamie Tierney, the Eagles boast the league’s Offensive, Defensive, and Goalie of the Year honorees, while Rhodes counters with two First Team and three Second Team All-Conference selections.
With championship history, star power, and momentum on both sides, Sunday’s showdown promises to deliver a thrilling final chapter to the 2025 season.
