GEORGETOWN, Tx. - The No. 2 Southwestern Pirates and No. 4 Berry Vikings have clinched their championship ticket for Sunday.
The Pirates enter the championship after defeating Centre in the semifinals and the Vikings enter after upsetting No. 1 Trinity in PK's on Friday.
Southwestern has proven to be a top team in the conference all year long, battling until the final game of regular season where they fell just short of the regular season crown. The team features the defensive athlete of the year as well as the coaching staff of the year.
Berry has had ups and downs this season, but shown to be a true tournament team to be reckoned with. Taking down nationally ranked Trinity stunned most, but the Vikings are ready for even more action and top ranked teams.
The game is set to begin in Georgetown at noon.
