Andrew Foltz Named Millsaps Head Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving Coach

Foltz Previously Coached at Elizabethtown and Frostburg State in Collegiate Ranks

JACKSON, Miss. – An experienced and award-winning leader in Andrew Foltz has been named the Millsaps College head men's and women's swimming and diving head coach on Monday.

"I am honored and excited to be the next Head Swimming and Diving Coach for Millsaps College," Foltz said. "I would like to thank Director of Athletics Justin LeBlanc, along with the search committee for giving me this great opportunity. I can't wait to get to work!"

Foltz spent the previous two seasons at fellow NCAA Division III school Elizabethtown College as the assistant men's and women's swimming coach. Prior to that, he was the head men's and women's swimming coach at NCAA Division II Frostburg State University after assisting there as well.

While at Elizabethtown he helped both Blue Jay programs to tie their best team finishes at the Landmark Conference Championships. There one of his student-athletes was aided by his guidance to the 50-yard freestyle individual conference crown.

He also spent three seasons at Frostburg State, the first two as an assistant coach and the last as the head coach. There he helmed the women's team to the Mountain East Conference Championship. It was the Bobcats' first conference title in any sport since transitioning to Division II from Division III.

Foltz was selected the 2022 Mountain East Conference Women's Swimming Coach of the Year, while also coaching both 2022 Mountain East Conference Men's and Women's Freshman of the Year honorees. In addition in 2021, he oversaw the Mountain East Conference Men's Swimmer of the Year as well as the Men's Freshman of the Year. He saw the Bobcats improve from last place in the conference to the top during his tenure.

Outside of the collegiate ranks, Foltz was the Mount Joy Lions Swim Team head coach from 2014-19 and 2023-25. He also was an assistant for the Pennsylvania-based youth team from 2011-13.

Additionally, he was the assistant swim coach for the Elizabethtown Aquatic Club (2014-19, 2023-25) and Lancaster Catholic High School (2014-17).

He obtained his Bachelor of Arts in financial economics from the University of Rochester in 2014, where he also played four seasons of college football. Foltz later earned his Master of Education in sport management from Millersville University of Pennsylvania in 2019.
