CANTON, Ga. – The Southern Athletic Association is proud to announce the addition of Bella Boston as Assistant for Championships.
Boston transitions into this role after serving as the SAA’s Championships, Events, and Operations intern last year, where she gained valuable experience in gameday administration, record books, and championship operations. In her new position, she will support a wide range of initiatives designed to enhance the student-athlete experience and promote the conference.
“We are thrilled to welcome Bella Boston as the SAA’s new Assistant for Championships. Having watched her journey from student-athlete to intern, it’s exciting to now see her step into this new role and continue to grow within our league," says Commissioner Stacey LaDew.
"We are especially proud to add one of our own alumni to the staff fold, keeping Bella in the SAA family as she pursues her graduate degree. Bella brings a fresh perspective and great energy, and we know her unique experiences will help us elevate how we serve our student-athletes. This is also an exciting moment for the SAA, as we continue to expand with a third role dedicated to supporting our mission and future success.”
A former SAA standout herself, Boston was a four-year volleyball star at Berry College. During her career with the Vikings, she earned numerous honors, including 2024 SAA Offensive Player of the Year, two-time First Team All-SAA selection, two-time First Team All-Region Honoree, AVCA All-American recognition, and was a four-time SAA Champion.
Her accomplishments extended well beyond the court. Boston earned CSC Academic All-District honors and was named an Academic All-American during her junior season. She was also active in leadership roles, serving as Berry’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) social media representative (2022–23) and later representing the conference as the SAA SACC Ambassador to the Executive Board in 2024.
Boston graduated from Berry in 2025 with a degree in Creative Technologies and is currently pursuing her MBA at Florida State University.
