CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. - The Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) has announced the results of the 2025-26 Preseason Mizuno WGCA Coaches Poll featuring three Southern Athletic Association programs in the top 25.

Trinity University and Centre College lead the way for SAA teams ranked at No. 18 and No. 19, respectively while Rhodes sits at No. 23 in the preseason rankings.

Trinity University and Centre College lead the way for SAA teams in the preseason rankings, coming in at No. 18 and No. 19, respectively, while Rhodes holds the No. 23 spot.

For the Tigers, senior Jessica Mason, a WGCA All-American, returns after an impressive two seasons at Trinity. She has been a key part of two SCAC championships and NCAA appearances, helping the team to an 11th-place finish in 2024. Trinity, ranked No. 17 heading into last year’s NCAA Championship, also returns Lauren Huddleston, who competed in the event.

Centre enters the season following a close runner-up finish in the SAA Tournament, having reached as high as No. 12 in last year’s WGCA Coaches Poll. The Colonels return Janie Morgan, the 2024 SAA Golfer of the Year, who helped guide the team to their fourth straight SAA Championship and NCAA appearance.

Rhodes, the reigning SAA Champion, will compete with a young roster this season following the departure of All-American Ava Bankston.

Also receiving votes was Southwestern University.

The women’s fall golf season begins this weekend for most SAA institutions.
