Trinity and Rhodes Compete for 2026 Men's Soccer Title

ATLANTA, Ga. - The No. 2 Trinity Tigers and No. 4 Rhodes College have clinched their championship ticket for Sunday.

No. 2 Trinity secured its place in the championship match with a dominant 2-0 victory over Berry. Eduardo Parra and Hodge MacDonald found the back of the net for the Tigers, who avenged last season's semifinal loss to the Vikings and extended their unbeaten streak to 15 matches.

No. 4 Rhodes earned its spot in the final with an impressive upset over top-seeded Southwestern. After a tightly contested, scoreless match, Brady Janes broke through in the 80th minute, finding the back of the net to send the Lynx to the championship match.

Trinity enters the championship looking to capture its first SAA Tournament title. Although the Tigers' tournament run ended in the semifinals last season, they went on to make an impressive run through the NCAA Tournament, finishing as national runners-up.

For Rhodes, the Lynx are seeking their first SAA Tournament championship since joining the conference in 2012. History may be on their side, however, as a No. 4 seed captured the tournament title last season after defeating the No. 2 seed.

The Tigers will look to cap off their 15-match unbeaten run with a championship, while Rhodes hopes to continue its postseason momentum and pull off another upset to claim the conference crown.

The game is set to begin in Atlanta at noon ET.
