CANTON, Ga. - D3hoops.com released the 2025-26 All-Region teams on Monday morning, showcasing the Region 6 Rookie of the Year along with two All-Region Athletes from the Southern Athletic Association.

All SAA players recognized are members of Region 6. Nikolas Avaliani of Sewanee was selected as the regions Rookie of the Year and was also the SAA's Rookie of the Year. The first-year averaged 18 points per game while shooting 45% from the field. He is joined on the All-Region team by the SAA's Athlete of the Year - Fletcher Bigham who put up outstanding numbers all season long. Bigham averaged a double-double with 19.4 points per game and 11 rebounds.

The two Sewanee athletes are joined by Phil Dotson, an SAA first team selection, of Rhodes. As a senior guard, Dotson consistently led the Lynx offensively and served as a key leader on a team that captured the Southern Athletic Association (SAA) Tournament Championship and earned an automatic bid to the 2026 NCAA Division III Men's Basketball Tournament.

Players chosen to the D3hoops.com All-Region team are eligible for All-America selection. 
 
This is the 25th year D3hoops.com has named an All-Region team and this year's All-America team will be the 29th annual All-America selections. The D3hoops.com All-American teams, along with those of the respective coaches' associations, are the only ones recognized in the NCAA record book.
