Game Recap: Rhodes vs. East Texas Baptist University

In a hard-fought NCAA Regional battle, the Rhodes College baseball team saw its 2026 season come to an end with a 10-2 loss to Concordia (Texas) on Saturday evening in Marshall, Texas. Despite facing an early deficit, the Lynx continued to compete deep into the contest, showing resilience throughout their final game of the year.

Rhodes battled against a powerful Concordia lineup that used four home runs and timely hitting to build separation across the middle innings. The Lynx answered with a late offensive push in the eighth inning, highlighted by key contributions from several veterans who helped lead Rhodes throughout the season.

Brad Larson delivered one of the top performances for the Lynx in their season finale, finishing 3-for-5 with a solo home run in the eighth inning. Larson consistently generated offense throughout the evening and provided Rhodes with an emotional spark late in the contest.

Ben Daniel also turned in a strong outing at the plate, going 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored, while Myles Kruger added an RBI single in the eighth inning to bring home Rhodes' second run of the game.
