Trinity Leads SAA in Final Directors' Cup Standings

CLEVELAND - Trinity University finished with an all-time high for the Southern Athletic Association (SAA) in the race for the Directors's Cup, coming in 14th overall with 765.50 points.

The Tigers of Trinity gained valuable points in Men's Golf (54.5), Softball (37.5), Women's Tennis (50), Men's Tennis (64), and Women's Track and Field (32) to finalize the 2025-26 season with 765.50 points, the highest-ever SAA finish.

Next up in the league was Centre College, in 55th place with 332 points after capturing more points in the Spring with Baseball and Men/Women Outdoor Track and Field. Rhodes finished in 69th and Berry took 83rd to round out the top four for the conference.

The remainder of the conference finished in the following positions - Sewanee (99th), Southwestern (200th), Oglethorpe (229th), Millsaps (274th).

Overall, 18 sports are counted in the final DIII standings, four of which must be men’s and women’s soccer and men’s and women’s basketball. The next highest (14 max.) sports scored for each institution, regardless of gender, are used in the standings.
