Whitehead Named DIII Volleyball Player of the Week

CANTON, Ga. - Madie Whitehead of Berry Volleyball has been named the Division III National Player of the Week by the AVCA.

Whitehead enjoyed a big opening weekend to the 2026 season, averaging 4.73 kills per set and 5.64 points per set at the Scranton Invitational. In the win over No. 13 Tufts, she had a double-double (16K-11D), and then she followed that up by posting a program record for kills in a three-set match with 25 vs. Ithaca.
