The Southern Athletic Association (SAA) is a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III. The SAA core members include Berry College, Centre College, Hendrix College, Millsaps College, Oglethorpe University, Rhodes College, and the University of the South. Southwestern University and Trinity University (Texas) are affiliate members in the sport of football and will become full-time members on July 1, 2025. Maryville College will join the SAA as an affiliate football member in 2025 and full-time member on July 1, 2026.
