The champion of the conference tournament will receive the SAA Automatic Qualifier into the NCAA Tournament.
The SAA softball tournament format will be a four-team double-elimination tournament.
All games MUST be played before the automatic qualification deadline on Sunday, in adherence with the NCAA’s protocols.
Determination of Seeding – Teams will be seeded based on the final conference standings. If a tie exists in the standings, the following steps will be applied to break the tie:

Record based on in-conference winning percentage.

Head-to-head record during conference play.
-
Record vs other teams in the conference starting at the top of the final standings and working down through until the tie is broken.

Run differential (eight-run maximum) in conference games between tied teams.

Home record vs conference opponents

If none of the preceding tiebreakers can break a tie, the final NCAA NPI Rankings for Division III Softball will be used to break any remaining ties.
