ATLANTA (March 17, 2021) – The Southern Athletic Association (SAA) has announced that Trentin Dupper of Birmingham-Southern, Hull Elohim and Brock Skinner of Berry have been named SAA Football Player of the Week winners.
Offense - Trentin Dupper - Quarterback - Centre
Dupper had his best game of the season against Austin. Dupper threw for a season-high 301 yards and accounted for 365 yards of total offense in the Colonels' 44-20 win over the 'Roos.
Additionally, Dupper threw for a pair of touchdowns, ran for a score, and also caught a touchdown pass on a halfback option throw.
Defense - Hull Elohim - Defensive Back - Berry
Elohim had an incredible performance in Saturday's SAA Championship game, tallying six tackles, one for a loss. He also snagged two interceptions, one which he ran back for a touchdown in the 21-20 victory.
Special Teams - Brock Skinner - Berry
Skinner blocked a punt and also caused a fumble on a different punt. These were key plays in securing Berry's 21-20 win in the SAA Championship game.
