CANTON, Ga.  – Rhodes had a busy week with a pair of meets, posting a win over Ozarks on Friday and downing Hendrix on Saturday. Berry and Sewanee took part in the Sewanee Relay Invitational and Centre hosted Evansville.

Athletes of the Week:
SWIMMER: Sam Tate | Berry | Senior | Maryville, Tenn.   - owned the day with multiple accolades in the Sewanee Invitational helping lead the team to a second place finish. In the 50 free relay split he posted the fastest split time in the conference at 21.12, going fourth on the 200 medley relay. Tate was first in the 200 breast relay with a time of 26.73 and also placed 2nd in three events: the crescendo relay (49.79), the 400 IM relay (54.23 the fastest time in the SAA), and the 200 mixed relay as the breaststroke leg (27.00)
 
DIVER: John Beuerlein | Rhodes | Senior | Austin, Texas - had an impressive weekend, claiming victories in all of his diving events. On Friday, he won the 1-meter competition for 11 dives with a score of 520.75, demonstrating his consistency and high level of skill. On Saturday, John continued his strong performances, winning both the 1-meter and 3-meter events for six dives, scoring 281.15 and 339.50, respectively.
 
Notable Performance:
  • Naeem Mangum (Sewanee) - delivered a strong performance at the Sewanee relay meet, helping his team secure a second-place finish in the 200 medley relay and a fourth-place finish in the mixed 200 relay. Mangum also competed in three additional relays, placing seventh in the 200 breaststroke relay and eighth in the 500-yard 50-100-150-200 relay.
