United Soccer Coaches Name 12 Men/15 Women from SAA All-Region

CANTON, Ga. (December 5, 2024) – The SAA men’s and women’s soccer teams combined to put 27 student-athletes on the United Soccer Coaches All-Region teams.
 

MEN
Led by four Lynx and three Stormy Petrels, the SAA boasted 12 total players named to the United Soccer Coaches Men’s All-Region VI teams.
 
Oglethorpe teammates Daniel Amah and Ben Alram highlighted the SAA awards, earning spots on the First Team. Amah was voted the conference Defensive Player of the Year and teammate Adrian Levy, the Offensive Player of the Year, was named second team All-Region.
 
Rhodes’ Eli Pilcher and Luke Grant are on the All-Region second tam while Nathan Slota and Ben Novello are fourth team. Centre had a pair of honorees in second teamer Finnegan Deem-Ranzetta and third teamer AJ Daniels. Berry duo Tracy Moon is on the third team and Andy Guzman on the fourth team while Tyler Cozzie represented Sewanee on the fourth team.

WOMEN
SAA champion Sewanee earned five All-Region selections. SAA Offensive Player of the Year Brianna Fee, Defensive Player of the Year Ashlyn Richards, and Kylene Monaghan were each voted to the first team. Leah Atkins and Kate Thomson earned spots on the second team.
 
Rhodes also had five selections, led by first teamer Sophia Rall. Mary Gale Godwin was second team while Esther Lamb, Taylor Theofiledes, and Megan Propp were voted third team.
 
Centre’s Lindsey Carr highlighted the Colonels with a first team selection. Alexis Kronenthal was second team and Claire Cavacini fourth team.
 
Camy McKenzie of Hendrix and Teresa Rodriguez of Berry were both selected to the fourth team.
