Atlanta, Ga. (April 21, 2024) – The 2024 SAA softball tournament bracket has been set with top-seed Berry and No. 2 seed Birmingham-Southern set to host opening round pods.

Each of the teams in the two pods will play a double-elimination tournament, April 26-28. The winners of each bracket will advance to a best-of-three championship series, May 3-4
 
The regular season champion Vikings enter the postseason having won 17-straight and setting a SAA record with 18 conference wins. They will host No. 4 seed Centre and No. 5 seed Sewanee in the first weekend of the tournament. The Colonels and the Tigers will start play on Friday, April 26 with the winner advancing to play Berry Friday evening.
 
Birmingham-Southern opens its postseason on Friday, April 26 against No. 7 seed Hendrix. No. 3 seed Rhodes and No. 6 seed Millsaps are the other side of the bracket.
 
Berry has won the last two SAA championships and owns six in program history. The Vikings cruised to the 2023 title, sweeping through its bracket and beating BSC twice in the championship series.
