CANTON, Ga. (September 26, 2024) – After breaking through and winning its first SAA title last season, Rhodes was picked to repeat, topping the 2024-25 SAA men’s swimming & diving preseason poll.
The Lynx earned 23 points and three first place votes to finish just ahead of Centre with 22 points and the other two first place votes. Berry was third in the voting with 18 points.
Voting was conducted among the SAA’s six head coaches.

Rhodes won six individual events and a pair of relays at the 2024 SAA Championship to post a 52 point win over runner-up Centre. Daniel Snyder dominated the distance events with goal medals in the 1650 freestyle, 500 freestyle, and 200 freestyle. Jack Whitten was a double winner and Jose Garcia also picked up a victory. Steve Webb was voted the SAA Coach of the Year.
Centre rode Kai Oddo’s two individual wins and a pair of relay victories to a second place finish in the team standings.
The 2025 SAA Swimming & Diving Championship is slated for February 12-15 at the new Champions Hall in Danville, Kentucky.
