CANTON, Ga. – For the first time in the new year, SAA indoor track & field teams were back in action with five teams competing across two different meets. Berry, Oglethorpe, and Sewanee visited the Birmingham CrossPlex for the Samford KMS Invitational. Centre and Rhodes were in Nashville for the Vanderbilt Invitational.

Track Athlete of the Week:
Hanna Rhodes | Oglethorpe | Junior | Acworth, Ga. – posted the top 800m time in the SAA so far this year, running at the Samford Open inside the Birmingham CrossPlex. The junior finished 11
th in a strong field, crossing the line with a time of 2:26.
Field Athlete of the Week:
Wrenna Morris | Sewanee | Sophomore | Knoxville, Tenn. – at the KSM Samford Open, Morris placed second in the pole vault, clearing a height of 2.60 meters (8’6.25”)
Notable Performances:
- Emory Rhodes (Sewanee) – earned a pair of top performances at the Samford KMS Invitational. In the 200-meter dash, Rhodes clocked a time of 28.96, placing her 10th all-time in program history. She also impressed in the 60-meter hurdles, finishing with a time of 10.27, which is the third-fastest in school history.
