CANTON, Ga.  – Basketball season opened their 25-26 campaign this week landing Warren and Rivera as Co-Athletes of the Week.

Co-Athletes of the Week:
Elyse Warren | Millsaps | SR | Memphis, TN –Millsaps women's basketball senior center Elyse Warren opened the 2025-26 season by continuing her impressive double-double habit, helping the Majors down the University of Dallas and MUW over the weekend. She averaged 10.5 points, 17 rebounds and an assist, connecting on 53 percent of shots (10-for-19) in the Millsaps Fall Classic.
 
Keimarya Rivera | Oglethorpe | SR | Canton, GA – Oglethorpe's Keimarya Rivera started off her senior campaign with a bang, putting up 23 points and nine rebounds in a road win to help the Stormy Petrels open the season in victory. Rivera went 9-for-13 from the field and 5-for-5 from the free-throw line while adding two assists, two steals and two blocked shots. 
 
Notable Performances:
  • Elly Callihan | Berry | SR | Ellijay, GA – A senior forward from Ellijay, GA Callihan led the Vikings with a double double (16 points, 11 rebounds) in a 71-69 win over Huntingdon.
  • Lilly Reid | Centre | JR | Mount Washington, KY – Lilly Reid filled up the box score in just 25 minutes of action as she helped Centre defeat Meredith 82-39 in the season opener. Reid led all players in nearly every statistical category on the day, finishing with 20 points, six rebounds, three assists and five steals in a dominant performance.
  • Avery Marsh | Rhodes | SR | Little Rock, AR –Avery Marsh delivered an impressive all-around performance across two strong games for the Lynx. Starting both contests and averaging 31.5 minutes, Marsh totaled 27 points, shooting an efficient 57% from the field (12-of-21) and 75% from the free-throw line (3-of-4). She also averaged 6 rebounds, 6 assists, 5 steals, and added a block—demonstrating her versatility and leadership on both ends of the court.
  • Olivia Falvey | Sewanee | SR | Boston, MA –Falvey led seven players in double figures, posting 22 points in 20 minutes of action in a victory over Wesleyan College. She made 9-of-16 shots overall and added five rebounds and three assists in the season opener.
  • Neela Castillo | Southwestern | FR | Kyle, TX – In her collegiate debut, freshman Neela Castillo delivered an outstanding all-around performance to lead Southwestern University to a 65–41 victory over former SCAC rival Austin College. Castillo posted a double-double with 18 points and 12 rebounds, while also contributing four assists and two steals. Her energy and efficiency on both ends of the floor set the tone for the Pirates’ season-opening win, showcasing poise beyond her years in her first collegiate appearance.
