CANTON, Ga. (April 19, 2025) – Preseason favorite Sewanee completed its 11
th unbeaten season in conference play to earn the outright title and top-seed in the 2025 SAA Women’s Tennis Championship. Ranked No. 22 in the nation, the Tigers have not dropped an SAA match in the league’s history.
The SAA Men’s and Women’s Tennis Championships are set for April 25-27 at Burns Park Tenis Center in North Little Rock, Arkansas.
Sewanee (5-0) received a bye into the semifinals and will play the winner of four-seed Centre and five-seed Millsaps. Rhodes went 5-1 in the regular season and earned a bye into the second round as the No. 2 seed. The Lynx will meet the winner of three-seed Berry and six-seed Hendrix in the semifinals.
The championship match is scheduled for Sunday, April 27.
