CANTON, Ga. (April 29, 2025) – The Southern Athletic Association has revealed the 2025 SAA Baseball postseason tournament draw. Regular season champion Millsaps earned the top-seed and bye into the championship bracket. The league’s other six teams will play three-game series’ May 2-3 looking to grab the one of the other three spots in the tournament.
 
Millsaps finished the season 28-11 overall and 13-5 in conference play, winning the SAA for the first time since 2013. They were picked sixth in the preseason poll.
 
Centre (27-8, 12-6 SAA) is the No. 2 seed and will host No. 7 Sewanee (20-18, 6-12 SAA) in its opening round series. The Colonels swept the Tigers in the regular season, winning by an average of eight runs during the weekend.
 
Rhodes (23-16, 9-9 SAA) won the tiebreaker over Hendrix to earn the No. 3 seed. The Lynx will host six-seed Oglethorpe (21-18, 7-11) to start the postseason. They played a three-game set to close the regular season with the Stormy Petrels coming out of Memphis with a sweep.
 
The other opening round pod features four-seed Hendrix (19-21, 9-9 SAA) hosting five-seed Berry (18-20, 7-11 SAA). The Vikings swept the Warriors in their regular season series, winning 7-6, 8-1, and 19-6.
 
Opening round series winners will then head to Jackson, Mississippi for a double-elimination championship tournament to determine the winner of the SAA and automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament.
