Track:
Zeno Goss | Oglethorpe | FR | Lawrenceville, GA – Oglethorpe freshman Zeno Goss ran the SAA's top mark of the season in the 800 meters with a 1:54 effort this weekend at the Samford Invitational. It marked his debut in the 800 and ranks as the No. 11 time currently in NCAA Division III.
Field:
Bryce Toomer | Berry | FR | Rome, GA –Toomer had a double PR on the day at the Samford Open, throwing 14.22m in the Shot Put and 13.43m in the WT. His Shot Put mark is ranked #3 in the SAA and he is the top Freshman thrower in the conference in both events thus far.
Track Notable Performances:
- Dallas Stricker | Millsaps | FR | Picayune, MS –Millsaps men's track and field distance freshman Dallas Stricker made an instant impact in his collegiate track and field debut. He covered the indoor mile in a blistering 4 minutes, 30.69 seconds at the 2026 Samford Open on Saturday. He finished 25th out of 50 finishers to shatter the previous school record set in 2014 by nearly seven seconds.
- Collin Dillingham | Rhodes | FR - Freshman Collin Dillingham delivered a breakthrough performance at the Vanderbilt Invitational, running a lifetime personal best of 1:58.47 in the men’s 800 meters while competing in a deep field loaded with mostly Division I athletes. Dillingham finished 43rd overall in a highly competitive race, proving he could hold his own against top-level competition while dipping under the two-minute barrier.
- Ethan Kline | Sewanee | SO | Forest, VA – Ethan Kline delivered a standout performance at the KMS Invitational, turning in multiple record-setting efforts to help Sewanee open the 2026 indoor season. Kline placed sixth in the 400 meters with a time of 51.17, a mark that ranks second all-time in Sewanee history. He followed that with another sixth-place finish in the 200 meters, running 22.28 to set a new school record in the event.
- Jackson Gallagher | Trinity | JR | Fort Worth, TX – Jackson Gallagher won the men's 600-meter in 1:24.05 at McNeese State Indoors on Friday, then ran the second leg of the 4x400-meter relay team that finished second with a time of 3:28.12. That relay time is the ninth-best in school history.
Field Notable Performances:
- Sean Wyers | Millsaps | FR | Eldridge, AL – Millsaps men's track and field freshman thrower Sean Wyers was successful in his collegiate debut for the Majors. At the 2026 Samford Open on Saturday, Wyers stamped his name as the second-best indoor shot put thrower in school history to date. He claimed 24th position with a toss of 12.61 meters (41' 4.5").
- Gavin Potter | Sewanee | SR | Crossville, TN – Gavin Potter broke Sewanee’s school record in the weight throw this Sunday at the KMS Invite, recording a mark of 13.08 meters, good for a fourth-place finish. He also added a 13th-place finish in the shot put with a distance of 11.12 meters.
- Aaron Chang | Trinity | JR | Fullerton, CA – At the McNeese Indoor Meet on Friday, Chang set a new PR and moved into third in school history with a throw of 13.55 meters that was good for seventh place in the weight throw. He was also seventh in the shot put with another PR of 13.36 meters that also put him third in program history.
