Sewanee has their eye on the 2026 trophy after falling in last year’s showdown for the crown. After three straight appearances in the SAA championship game, the Tigers are hungry for their first title since 2022.

The Colonels return two first team all-conference selections in Mac Shafer and Hayden Burns along with two second team selections. Last season Centre held a 5-1 conference record and was narrowly defeated by Sewanee in the semifinal contest.

Rhodes fell in the second round of the NCAA tournament last season after capturing the SAA title. Under the reigning SAA Coaching Staff of the Year led by Billy Cameron, the team returns two first team all-conference selections, one second team honoree, and all three honorable mention athletes.

The 2026 SAA Men’s Lacrosse Championship is slated for April 30 - May 2 in Danville, Kentucky, hosted by Centre College.
