DANVILLE, Ky. - Trinity Men's Swimming and Diving have take the lead after day two of the 2026 Southern Athletic Association Championship.
Luke Fender of Trinity opened up finals in the 500 Free by setting a new meet record to claim the gold with a time of 4:28.15 while teammate Theodore Ho took third in the event at 4:32.72. Finishing second for the silver was Brady Miller of Centre with a time of 4:30.94.
In the 200 IM, Rhodes claimed the top two spots with strong performances from senior Jack Whitten and sophomore Josh Denckhoff. Centre's freshman, Gavin Shoeling claimed third in the event.
Trinity's Jack Hester brought in 20 points for the Tigers after winning the final event of the day, the 50 Free at 20.70 while three other teammates placed in the top eight to accumulate even more points for the team.

Trinity holds a strong lead heading into day three which is slated to start at 10:00 AM with Prelims in the 100 Fly.
