D3hoops Releases Women's Basketball All-Region Teams

Features Four SAA Athletes

CANTON, Ga. - D3hoops.com released the 2025-26 All-Region teams on Monday morning, showcasing four Southern Athletic Association athletes from three institutions.

All institutions in the SAA represent Region 6.

The SAA's Athlete and Defensive Athletes of the Year, Keimarya Rivera and Elyse Warren, were selected to the First Team. Both athletes were double-double queens as Rivera averaged 19.5 ppg and 9 rpg while Warren, a Josten's Trophy Finalist, averaged 14.8 ppg and 17.4 rpg as she led her team to an SAA tournament title.

Garin Freeman joins teammate Warren, but as a second team honoree. Freeman was huge in the SAA tournament and all season long as the Majors captured the No.3 seed in the tournament. The junior averaged 17 points per game and had almost 200 assists on the season.

From Trinity, Kylie Minter makes her way to third-team all-region after leading her team to the regular season title in the conference. She averaged nearly 17 ppg while shooting an astounding 39% from three.

Players chosen to the D3hoops.com All-Region team are eligible for All-America selection. 
 
This is the 25th year D3hoops.com has named an All-Region team and this year's All-America team will be the 29th annual All-America selections. The D3hoops.com All-American teams, along with those of the respective coaches' associations, are the only ones recognized in the NCAA record book.
