DANVILLE, Ky. - The 2026 Southern Athletic Association Men's Lacrosse stage is set, hosted in Danville, Kentucky, by Centre College.
Top-seeded Sewanee secured the regular season title and will face No. 4 Southwestern at 4:00 PM ET. When these two last met in Georgetown, Texas, the Tigers edged the Pirates in a tightly contested 9–7 battle. Sewanee carried a one-goal lead into halftime before breaking the game open in the third quarter with three unanswered scores. Robert Freeman paced the Tigers with a hat trick, while Matthew Houtz and Marshall Mohun each recorded two goals for Southwestern.
In the second semifinal, No. 2 Centre takes on No. 3 Rhodes at 6:30 PM ET. Their previous matchup was just as competitive, with Centre earning a 14–12 victory. Rhodes came out strong, building a 6–3 advantage, but the Colonels responded to even the score before halftime. The Lynx briefly regained momentum in the second half, but a dominant fourth quarter from Centre sealed the comeback. Gavin Nagle led Rhodes with three goals, while Ryan Black powered Centre with four in the win.
The championship game is set for Saturday, May 2, at 12:00 PM ET.
