MEMPHIS - The 2026 Southern Athletic Association Women's Lacrosse championship is set for Memphis, Tennessee.
No. 1 Rhodes is set to take on No. 4 Oglethorpe at 1 PM CT in Memphis. Their last meeting came at the end of March in Atlanta, where Rhodes earned a decisive 15–5 victory. The Lynx built momentum early, highlighted by two first-period goals from Delaney O’Mailey before breaking things open with a dominant second frame. Payton Stevens led the attack with three goals, while Daryn Raleigh anchored the defense with five caused turnovers for the Petrels. A late push from Oglethorpe proved too little, too late.
No. 2 Sewanee will face No. 3 Centre at 4:00 PM CT. In their previous matchup in Danville, Sewanee came away with a 16–9 win after a commanding 9–2 first half. Centre showed resilience with a late surge—scoring four in the third and three in the fourth—but couldn’t overcome the early deficit. Sally Herrington and Ellen Lewis combined for six goals for the Tigers, while Offensive Athlete of the Year Marlin Price added five more. Centre’s Gracie Garner turned in a strong performance with four goals and one assist for the Colonels.
