COLUMBUS, Ga. - The 2026 Southern Athletic Association (SAA) Softball Tournament heads back to Colubmus, Georgia to crown a champion.
The tournament will feature four league teams at the South Commons Complex. Trinity and Rhodes split the regular season title, but Trinity takes the top seed in the tournament and will take on Berry in game two. Second-seeded Rhodes will face No. 3 Southwestern in game one.
The seven game series is are set for May 7-9 in Columbus, Georgia.

No. 2 Rhodes vs No. 3 Southwestern - May 7, 2:30 PM ET
Rhodes has the upperhand as they swept the Pirates at home back in the beginning of April. In game one, the Lynx won 6-3 after taking a two-run lead in the second with a double from Talia Travis. Southwestern responded with two runs of their own in the fifth, but in the bottom of the inning Rhodes posted three to separate once again. Game two was all Rhodes with a 12-0 shutout and the series concluded with a close 3-2 win for the Lynx.
No. 1 Trinity vs No. 4 Berry - May 7, 5:00 PM ET
Trinity won the series at the beginning of April 2-1 in Mount Berry, Georgia. After falling in a tight game one, the Tigers posted back-to-back wins scoring nine and eight runs, respectively. In the game two win, Trinity had a four spot in the top of the sixth that started with a solo homerun from Josephine Koelewyn and in game three a six run inning in the fifth took the lead for Trinity and secured the game.

Admission for the 2026 SAA Softball Tournament is $15 per person per day, $10 for children ages 12–17 and seniors 65+, and free for children 11 and under. Students, faculty, and staff of any SAA institution will be admitted free with a current campus ID.
All seating will be sold as general admission seating. All tickets may be purchased via Hometown Tickets, the official provider of South Commons. Fans can purchase tickets in advance on the link on the championships page, or on-site with a credit card only.
