CANTON, Ga. - D3football.com released the 2026 Preseason All-America teams this afternoon that featured four Southern Athletic Association athletes.
The four recognized from the conference are:
Second Team Offense
McCormack Langford (Berry)
Jalen McCullough (Maryville)
Third Team Specialists
Cree Ross (Centre)
Third Team Offense
Alejandro Tavarez
Langford an offensive lineman will be a senior this year and is coming off a breakout junior season where he started all 12 games and was named First Team All-SAA Offense and D3Football.com First Team All-Region and All-American Fourth Team while helping lead the Vikings to the SAA Championship and all the way to the NCAA Quarterfinals. It is the 27th time D3football.com has named a preseason All-America team.
Junior tight end
Jalen McCullough, after a terrific sophomore campaign, was named to the second team offense. It is the second year in a row a Scots has been named to the preseason All-American team by the publication. McCullough had over 500 receiving yards and led the team with 9 receiving touchdowns.
Ross was voted the SAA Special Teams Player of the Year by the league's coaches after a breakthrough junior campaign that was the greatest season by a return specialist in program history and followed that up by being named Second Team All-Region 6 by D3football.com.
Tavarez was a first team all-region wide receiver and third team AP All-American in 2025. He had 60 receptions for 1000 yards and 15 touchdowns.
