CANTON, Ga. - Trinity University women's cross country has been selected as No. 21 in the USTFCCCA Coaches' Preseason Poll.

The Tigers captured the SAA Championship in 2025 and went on to finish fourth at Regionals, earning their first appearance at the NCAA Championship since 2017. Trinity finished 27th overall at the national championship, with the Tigers’ top individual finisher placing 110th.

The Tigers return a strong core from last year’s national championship squad, with just one of the seven student-athletes who competed at the NCAA Championship graduating and moving on. With six national championship competitors returning, Trinity will look to build on last season’s success and make another strong postseason push in 2026.

The Tigers will open the 2026 season on Tuesday, September 1, at the UIW Twilight in San Antonio, Texas.
