Athletes of the Week
Offensive:
Jaxon Dabrowski | Maryville | FR | Maryville, TN – Dabrowski had a breakout performance against in-state rival Rhodes this week, passing for nearly three hundred yards and three passing touchdowns, while rushing for 43 more yards and another touchdown on the ground for a total of four touchdowns. Dabrowski didn't turn the ball over, either. The freshman really showed out in the Scots' first win of the season, helping his team start 1-0 in conference play.
Defensive:
Kylan Hall | Maryville | SO | Gainesville, GA – Hall has been a steady force for the Scots in the middle of the defense this season, and it showed again against Rhodes - Hall recorded his first career interception and returned it 41 yards for a touchdown, capping off a terrific game for the team, holding the Lynx to only 3 total points. Hall also contributed four total tackles.
Special Teams:
Grady Jones | Rhodes | JR | Brookhaven, GA – Jones averaged 48.4 yards on five punts, with a long of 62 yards. He placed three punts inside the 20-yard line, including two inside the 10, and converted his only field goal attempt.

Defense
- Wyatt Fowler | Centre | SR | Crestwood, KY – Wyatt Fowler spent a large portion of Saturday night's game in the offensive backfield as he recorded two tackles for loss in Centre's 45-0 victory over Bridgewater. Fowler made another contribution to the shutout as he blocked a field goal attempt by the Eagles in the second quarter.
