Atlanta, Ga. – The SAA has announced its final men’s tennis athletes of the week for 2023-24 season.

Athlete of the Week:
SINGLES: Isaac Flanery | Centre | First Year | West Lafayette, Ind. -  won his third and fourth straight matches in the SAA finale weekend. He took the first with a 6-2, 6-4 decision over Elijah Pierce of Hendrix in the No. 3 match. Flanery earned his second win of the weekend in the third slot with a 6-4, 6-2 tally over Mainella of Rhodes.
 
DOUBLES: Centre
Jasper Gazzo | Junior | Aiken, S.C. / Chase Turley | Sophomore | League City, Texas -   finished the regular season having won three matches in a row as a duo. The first win of the weekend came after taking down Robinson Wright and Cason Cole of Hendrix by a tally of 8-4 in No. 3 doubles. They pushed their streak to three with an 8-7 (7-5) victory versus Oliver Bonovich and Paul of Rhodes.
 
Notable Performances:

• Carsten Balao (Berry) - at #5 singles against BSC and at #3 singles against Millsaps.
• Diego Lopez/Noah Koch (Berry) – won the top doubles flight against their opponnets from Birmingham-Southern
• Carson Chassaignac/Sam Tuli (Millsaps) -  were victorious in a pair of Court 1 doubles matches over the weekend. The pair bested opponents from Oglethorpe on Saturday and Berry on Sunday with identical 8-4 triumphs. 
• Gil Weston/Liam Baer (Sewanee) - beat Rhodes 8-3 at #2 and Hendrix 8-4 at #1 doubles.
