Singles:
Max Verellen | Sewanee | SO | High Point, NC – Max Verellen was 2-0 on the weekend, defeating Hart of No.40-ranked Occidental, 6-2, 7-5 at line six, securing the clinch. He followed up his performance later that day by defeating Raghavan of UC Santa Cruz, 6-2, 6-2 at line five to give the team a 3-0 lead.
Doubles:
Max Verellen / Drew Rukavina (Sewanee) - Drew Rukavina and Max Verellen clinched the doubles point for the Tigers against No. 40 Occidental on Saturday morning, 6-3, as Sewanee defeated the Occidental Tigers 4-0. In the match against UC Santa Cruz, both Drew and Max won their doubles point, but with different partners at two and three doubles.

Singles:
- Sam Tuli | Millsaps | SR | Ocean Springs, MS – Millsaps men's tennis senior Sam Tuli won both sets 6-3 on Court Three in singles against the University of the Ozarks to secure the victory over his non-conference opponent on Friday. He fell in a third-set tiebreaker earlier in the day against Jones College (5-7, 6-4, 1-0 (10-3)). Ozarks won 5-2, while Jones succeeded 7-0.
- Paul Fridman | Rhodes | SR – Senior Paul Fridman played well for Lynx this past weekend going 2-1 at the #3 position. Friday nightagainst #28 NC-Wesleyan Fridman battled back against Farhaan Patrawala winning the second set in a tiebreaker to force a third set super tiebreaker where he lost a close one 8-10. Saturday Fridman was able bounce back with two quality wins. In the morning he defeated DePauw’s Paul Castleman 6-4, 6-3 and in the afternoon he defeated Hendrix’s Max Henderson 3-6, 6-3, 10-7.
Doubles:
- Cooper Payne | FR / Sam Tuli | SR (Millsaps) - Millsaps men’s tennis duo, freshman Cooper Payne and senior Sam Tuli, teamed up together as a strong pair to defeat the NJCAA-ranked No. 13 Jones College opponent, winning 7-5 on Court Two in doubles. The pair put up a hard fight earlier in the day, falling 6-2 against the University of the Ozarks. As a team Millsaps was defeated by Jones (0-7) and Ozarks (2-5).
- Landon Sosebee / Ashton Ellis (Southwestern) - The doubles team of Landon Sosebee and Ashton Ellis delivered a clutch performance for the Pirates on Friday morning, rallying from a 2–4 deficit to defeat Hope College 6–4. The comeback victory secured the crucial doubles point for Southwestern and helped propel the Pirates to a 5–2 team win. Sosebee and Ellis showed resilience and composure down the stretch, winning four straight games to complete the comeback and give the Pirates early momentum in the match
