Singles:
Lucas Wrigley | Sewanee | FR | Ocean Springs, MS – Lucas Wrigley was 2-0 on the weekend at line five singles for the Tigers, dropping just eight games. The freshman defeated Lambert of Berry, 6-2, 6-2, and George of Oglethorpe, 6-0, 6-4, helping Sewanee clinch the regular season SAA Championships.
Doubles:
Drew Rukavina | JR / Ben Lammert | SO (Sewanee) - Drew Rukavina and Ben Lammert were 2-0 this weekend at two doubles. They defeated Goode/Deckard of Berry, 6-4 and Simmons/Pernfors of Oglethorpe, 6-3. Both wins helped Sewanee secure the doubles point and helped the team clinch the regular-season SAA Championship.

Singles:
- Jake Chapman | Berry | SR | Panama City, FL – A senior from Panama City, FL Chapman won both his matches this week. In the first game against Sewanee Chapman won his match at first singles 3-6, 7-5, 10-4 but it wasn't enough overall as the team lost a close one 4-3. In the second game against Centre Chapman led the Vikings at first singles winning 7(7)-6(5), 6-4 as the team prevailed 5-2.
- Ashton Ellis | Southwestern | SR | Baton Rouge, LA – Senior Ashton Ellis went 2–0 in singles play this weekend, delivering key performances to help the Pirates secure conference wins. He opened with a 6–0, 7–6 (7–5) victory over Millsaps, showing control and composure in a tight second-set tiebreak. Ellis then clinched the match against Rhodes in a three-set thriller, 6–4, 6–7 (5), 7–5. After dropping the second set, he fell behind 0–3 in the third before mounting a comeback to win 7–5 and seal the match for Southwestern. His clutch performance and resilience were instrumental in the Pirates’ success.
- Roshin Kamath | Trinity | SO | League City, TX – Kamath led the 19th-ranked Trinity men's tennis team to a pair of Southern Athletic Association victories on the road last week, defeating Rhodes College 6-1 before shutting out Millsaps College 7-0. Kamath clinched the match win over Rhodes with his 6-3, 7-6 (7-4) win at #5 singles on Saturday, then rallied for a 3-6, 6-0, 1-0 (10-4) win at #3 singles against Millsaps that sealed the shutout win.

- Ashton Ellis | SR / Landon Sosebee | SR (Southwestern) - Ashton Ellis and Landon Sosebee delivered a pivotal performance at No. 3 doubles this weekend, finishing a perfect 2–0 to help power Southwestern to a pair of conference victories. The duo opened with a strong 6–3 win over Millsaps, setting the tone early with consistent play and strong communication on the court. They followed up with an even more dominant 6–1 victory against Rhodes, showcasing their chemistry and ability to control points from start to finish. Ellis and Sosebee played a crucial role in shifting momentum in both matches, helping the Pirates secure the doubles point each day. Their performances not only provided an early advantage but also energized the team heading into singles play, proving instrumental in Southwestern’s overall success for the weekend.
- Jared Perry | JR / Kishan Kersten | JR (Trinity) - Perry and Kersten led the 19th-ranked Trinity men's tennis team to a pair of Southern Athletic Association victories on the road last week, defeating Rhodes College 6-1 before shutting out Millsaps College 7-0. The Tiger doubles duo played at line one in both matches. Perry and Kersten were the first match off the court against Rhodes, winning 6-1 to jump-start the team. They finished off doubles play with a 6-3 win against Millsaps.
