CANTON, Ga. - Three from the Southern Athletic Association have qualified for the 2025 NCAA Division III Women's Cross Country Championship.
The championship will be held on November 22 in Spartanburg, South Carolina at the Roger Milliken Center.
From Rhodes, Anna Cantrell, the SAA Athlete of the Year and Elena Gentry (SAA honorable mention) have claimed their ticket to South Carolina to compete in the championship after a fifth place finish from Gentry (21:48) and a 14th place finish from Cantrell (22:24) in the regional championship.
The two Lynx have been dynamic in the SAA all season capturing multiple athlete of the week honors and finishing high in the SAA Championship.
Joining them will be Sophie Bouldin of Centre after her impressive fifth place finish in the Great Lakes Regional (22:18.30). As one of the seven top individual qualifiers outside of the two qualifying teams, Bouldin earned a spot in the NCAA Championships next week.
Bouldin finished second overall in the SAA Championship this year to claim first team All-SAA honors and was the 2024 Athlete of the Year.
