WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Southern Athletic Association has three student-athletes selected for the NCAA Division III Immersion Program, taking place from January 13-16, 2026 in Washington D.C. in conjuction with the NCAA Convention.
The program introduces Division III student-athletes to governance, mentorship, and career pathways across intercollegiate athletics through DiSC training, small-group learning, and networking with administrators and coaches.
The three students selected to attend are:
Madisyn Barganski (Trinity)
Maggie Barker (Sewanee)
Jenna Rodriguez (Trinity)
The field of participants sits at 39, with three of those being from the SAA.

The NCAA Division III Student Immersion Program is a fully funded initiative that brings together a national cohort of student-athletes for leadership development, mentorship, and exposure to Division III governance and Convention programming.
